Stained Glass is a fun and enjoyable hobby, you can enjoy it in a small scale and also at large windows, classes are meant to be relaxing and structured for you to learn all the technical aspects of this beautiful art form and have pride in creating something that will last for life.
You will complete one stained glass panels (square, rectangle to fit 8″ x11″) using lead came technique. You will know all the tools and their uses, such as the glass cutter, grozers, dykes, running pliers, grinders, soldering irons and more also the different types of glass and how they are manufactured. You will learn by hands on demonstration, glass cutting, grinding and fitting, working with different lead came sizes and shapes, soldering, cementing, finishing, cleaning, framing and window installation, also how to enhance your technical skills.
