Mexican byzantine smalti hhas many advantages comparing to other materials, has variations in colors in the same tessera, one side is slightly different than the other side, but you can use both side even the riven edge, one side of the smalti is glossy while the other side has texture and variation of colors, no two pieces of Mexican smalti are exactly alike in colour or size. Each side has its own unique qualities.

• 2.5 to 3 Pounds covers 1 sq/ft.
• Size of any Piece: Approx. 5/8″ x 5/8″ x 3/16″ thick. Size varies.
• There is about 200 pieces in a pound of smalti.
• Suitable for floors, walls, outdoor, indoor, rain or snow depend on how you install it.
• Please order more than what you need for the project to avoid colour variation between batchs.
