3D Textured Mosaic Workshop

This class is suitable for intermediate students and above. If you successfully finished the basic mosaic course with us, this is a new and innovative way to apply mosaic art. Texture is an element of art, it gives the mosaic a unique feel, it translates the emotions the artist has easily. In this course you will create a 3D sculpture, learn the direct method using thin set, the use of the hammer and hardie, how to choose the colours and texture to achieve your goal in making a textured mosaic art, and you will be introduced to all types of tesserae from Mexican Smalti, Italian Smalti, vitreous glass tiles Opus Romano, Marble, stained glass and more.
