Opus Romano are pure solid colour glass tiles. The exclusive and unique production process produces tesserae with resistance and colours that are difficult to get in fused glass. Opus Romano are ideal choice for portraits because of the range of tone which makes it easy to create subtle shading. This is also the hardest and most durable glass mosaic on the market. Yet these tiles are easily cut with a basic or wheeled nipper. Tiles are available in 1/2” or 3/4” (special order) square (1/4” thick). 1 lb of Opus Romano tiles is about 225 tiles and cover approximatley 70 sq. inches.
